Maintenance Electronics Technician / Industrial Electrician

THE OPPORTUNITY:
Over the next 5 years, we plan to expand our maintenance department to be more self-sufficient for daily maintenance and repair of equipment, as well as to support aggressive CNC retrofitting/upgrading projects and a new plant layout requiring several equipment moves. This is a great opportunity for an individual who enjoys mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, rebuilding hydraulic and pneumatic motors and pumps, reconfiguring and programming controls, fabrication, and welding.
We are a 24/7 shop, so candidates must be flexible to work any shift.
QUALIFICATIONS:
The ideal candidate will be an experienced journey level electrician or electronics technician with extensive experience in machine installation, repair, tear down/rebuild, retrofitting or overhaul.
Advanced level of electrical and mechanical troubleshooting.
Ability to troubleshoot and reconfigure programmable controls and complex electronic components.
Experience maintaining or repairing CNC machinery is helpful, including way scraping, ball bar/laser leveling, and CNC control retrofitting.
Must be able to read and interpret schematics.
Ability to design and fabricate customized parts.
