David Baublits - CEO

David has been active in all aspects of business since graduating Magna Cum Laude from Pacific Lutheran University in 1977 with undergraduate degrees in economics and business. He has owned several businesses including a contact lens manufacturing firm (B&D Contacts) and a machine shop that specialized in the milling of complex aerospace parts (Riverton Industries). His broad experience includes active participation in sales, warehousing, distribution, human resources, finance and operations. In 1998, David graduated Summa Cum Laude from City University with a Masters degree in Business Administration.

David was hired at PMW in October of 2000 as a Program Manager. He was then promoted to Materials Manager, Director of Operations, Vice President of Manufacturing and finally CEO in February of 2007. Accomplishments since becoming CEO include the purchase of PMW’s first Dual 5-axis, six spindle gantry which will be fully installed by the end of FY07 and the purchase of 4 six spindle, 3-axis machines and an additional single spindle, large envelope, horizontal 5-axis machine. These machines will help support the tremendous growth that PMW will be experiencing over the next five years.

David owns several mechanical patents relating to industrial tools. He has been married to his wife, Julie for 13 years and has four sons – Derek, Tim, Erik and Ben.
