Brief Corporate Overview
Precision Machine Works Inc., is located in Tacoma, Washington and is a provider of machining services and supply chain/integration with value-added services. We specialize in machining complex parts and assemblies to customer specifications. Our Integration services include Program management, Contract management, Supply Chain management and Engineering services tailored to meet our customer’s outsourcing requirements. We are an employee owned company providing services for over 80 years to the aerospace and commercial markets. We are a Small Business Administration designated small business located in a certified Historically Under-utilized Business Zone (HUBZone).
Our manufacturing and warehouse facilities cover 85,000 square feet, and contain 50 single and multi-spindle 3, 4 and 5 axis CNC machine centers. We also have a large assembly area capable of producing highly complex component assemblies. Also see Plant Characteristics
Machined parts and assemblies are manufactured from titanium, nickel based alloys, heat treatable steels, and aluminum. Tool fabrication and CNC programming are also provided from internal resources.
We offer our customers the value-added service of Program Integration. Our sophisticated ERP and supplier management systems support us as we plan and execute our program management, contract management, supply chain management and engineering support activities to meet our customer’s requirements. In addition, ERP and supply chain management activities support our machining, assembly, finish processing and inspection processes. This capability is enhanced with our mature lean manufacturing techniques and allows us to ship high quality assembled components “Just in Time” to our customer’s production line.
